Maeves First Birthday

Well I am back and ready to write about the Maeve's First Birthday Party! The party didn't start till later that day because everyone at my parents house were busy till later. So Maeve, Ari, Emma and I hung out till everyone else came home. We sat outside in the sun because it was a very nice day. Because it was so hot Emma wanted to buy an ice cream cone from the ice cream truck driving around the neighborhood. We had to listen for the truck for a bit, but we finally saw it and Emma went running to get one. She said that it was expensive but it was fun to run and get one.

We sat in the back yard and just hung out until supper when Dad and Kathryn came home. Great Grandma Takahashi came over to celebrate too. I had made some cupcakes for Maeves birthday and Maeve is such a weeny that she started to cry when she saw the cupcakes. It took her a while to feel like the cupcake was safe to eat. Everyone just laughed at her because she was so scared of it.

After supper and cupakes we opened her presents and hung out. It was a nice little birthday party.
